Dear deviantArt Journal,
It's been a while since I have taken photos, I mean really taken photos and them not being just snapshots of my children. We are moving to California in January and have been busy with birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and now New Year then our moving!

It really seems like from September to March is packed with non-stop celebrating of something and I am starting to look for a way to minimize all the chaos. September is my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary, October is Halloween, November is our child's birthday, December is my birthday and Christmas, January is New Year and our moving to California, February is our other's child's birthday. So you can see.

I am looking forward to taking some photos of our area soon before we leave and then taking photos of the coast of California where we will live.

Thank you so much for the comment and sorry that it took me so long to response! I'm glad you liked "Winter's Reaping" - that photo means a lot to me and whenever I find out about someone else who digs it, it makes me kinda proud.

Thanks for the comment on Ionic. I'm not quite sure where the inspiration for that piece came from. The idea for the hair and angle had been kicking around inmy head for a while. And *iony and I were working on something together, and she was using beautiful green and violet shades. I thought those colors would fit well with the image. :) (Smile)

Yes, I believe I can do more sports photography. Summer is coming up soon and the skating rink near my place should be open soon.....so cross your fingers, hopefully I will shoot something good again!
